Applications are now open for the FIME2017 Young Artist Program from November 27 until December 5, 2017 in Quito, Ecuador.  Musicians of all nationalities born in 1987, or after, may apply. Each participant will receive a full-tuition scholarship for the masterclasses. A $200 fee will be required of all SELECTED participants. This symbolic fee will go toward the cost of lodging. Each participant is responsible for converge their own international travel, breakfast and dinner. Lunch, which will be provided by FIME.

FIME2017 Young Artists Program welcomes applications for the following instruments: violin, cello, viola, double bass and piano.  Spaces are limited.

 

Participant Requirements:

a. For individual applications we require name, contact information, and a brief biography. Tell us about your studies, teachers, and most recent musical accomplishments.

​

b. If applying as a chamber music group, all members must participate in all official FIME activities. When sending in your application, please provide the name, a short biography of the group and the age of each of its members.

 

c. Please send your application materials including: first and last names, contact number, email address, a short biography, and lastly, a video recording of two contrasting works with or without accompaniment.  All materials should be sent to festivalesmeraldas@gmail.com with the name of your instrument clearly typed in the subject heading.
