How to get to Esmeraldas

To save money, we advise international participants to book their round-trip flights to either Quito or Guayaquil and then to take either a bus or a flight on TAME Airlines to Esmeraldas. This will be cheaper 100% of the time.

 

 

By Plane:

 

Esmeraldas Airport is located near the city center. Students that arrive by plane will be picked up by our Festival staff to take them to the residence.

 

Tame Airline has direct flights to Esmeraldas everyday from Quito and Guayaquil (Ecuador), and from Cali (Colombia) every Monday, Wensday and Friday.

 

 

 

By bus:

 

The ecuadorian bus company "Panamericana" offers direct trips from Quito to Esmeraldas, with a lenght of 5 hours.
